If I’m out and about with my family and friends, sometimes I actually tend not to take my camera with me, as then I’m just the worst – instead of chatting and chilling, I’ll always be that person whose brain is quietly composing her next photograph.
Having said that, as a mum of one very handsome little chap, and a wife to the best daddy ever – I am, of course, more often that not, guilty of doing just that. Now need to find some time to print albums of all of the family photographs we’ve had in these 3 short years.
Originally from Lithuania, I have settled down in the North East of England after living in Sardinia (Italy) and London for a few years. I have a bachelor’s degree in Law that I have never even tried to use – instead, I’ve always been attracted to working in events, hospitality and travel. This, in addition to a hobby-turned-passion that is photography, makes Wedding photography my actual dream job.

WHY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY THEN?
1.
It combines photography (of course), great energy, beautiful people, amazing food, super fun atmosphere, awesome music (and the list goes on) all in one.
2.
Everybody could do it, you say? Well!… Could they? Can everyone photograph you having the best time with your best people in a beautiful and flattering way, can everyone make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, would you want anyone there capturing sweet and intimate moments between you and your new spouse? I didn’t think so.

When a groom exclaims ‘oh I had so much fun’ after the couples portraits session, or a bride says ‘damn I look SOOO good’ when I show them the back of my camera, my soul sings!
‘We trust you to do your thing’ = MUSIC TO MY EARS!

So yeah, the fact that, in some way, I can take part in helping my couples have the best Wedding day possible, adds to making it my dream job! Well, this, and all the pretty dresses, bright fresh flowers, huge hugs and sheer happiness in the air! 😉
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE WEDDINGS TO PHOTOGRAPH?
Even though photography is such a visual thing, I never think of what the weddings themselves look like – what comes to my mind is what they feel like - seeing the newly married couple simply having a blast in each other’s company, enjoying all the little and big things they had planned, making the most of every minute is what I enjoy capturing the most!
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE KIND OF WEDDING DRESSES?
The ones that help the bride shine! That help her move freely, dance, hug, walk with her head held high!
Ohhh and please pair it with *at least a little bit* comfortable shoes ;)
WHAT’S THE SECRET TO GOOD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS?
The best photographs are created by the people being their happiest selves – let the professionals worry about your timeline, the contingency plans, etc etc – you just go and enjoy yourselves!
